Chrome Extension
The Extraktr Chrome Extension lets you extract directly from Slack, Gmail, and Discord without leaving your browser. Right-click a conversation or use the extension popup to send threads to Extraktr.
Installation
- Visit the Chrome Web Store and search "Extraktr"
- Click "Add to Chrome" and confirm the permissions
- The Extraktr icon appears in your browser toolbar
- Sign in to link the extension to your account
Supported Sites
The extension adds extraction capabilities to these sites:
- app.slack.com — Extract from visible Slack threads
- mail.google.com — Extract from open Gmail conversations
- discord.com — Extract from Discord channels and threads
Using the Extension
When you're on a supported site, the extension detects conversation content on the page. Click the Extraktr icon or right-click and select "Extract with Extraktr" to send the visible conversation to the extraction pipeline. Results open in a new tab or appear in the extension popup.
The extension reads only the conversation currently visible on the page. It does not access your full inbox, DMs, or private channels beyond what you can see.
