Routing Rules

Routing Rules

Routing rules control how extracted items are forwarded to outbound destinations. Configure which types of items get routed, set confidence thresholds, and choose where items are sent.

How Routing Works

When an extraction completes and routing is enabled, the routing engine evaluates each extracted item (tasks, decisions, risks) against your rules. Items that match are forwarded to your configured outbound destinations.

  • Filter by item type — route only tasks, only decisions, or specific combinations
  • Minimum confidence — set a threshold so only high-confidence items are routed
  • Destination allowlist — choose which outbound destinations receive routed items

Configuring Rules

Access Routing Rules from Settings → Universal Routing Rules. Rules are workspace-scoped — they apply to all extractions within the workspace.

  • Enable routing for the workspace
  • Select which item types to route (tasks, decisions, risks)
  • Set the minimum confidence threshold (0–100%)
  • Choose allowed destinations from your connected outbound integrations

Routing Destinations

Routed items can be sent to any configured outbound destination, including Slack incoming webhooks, ClickUp task lists, GitHub Issues, Linear issues, Notion databases, and signed HTTP webhooks.

Routing rules apply at the workspace level. Personal extractions outside of a workspace don't use routing rules — use direct outbound preferences instead.
