Extraction Processing

Choose how your conversations are processed. Extraktr supports two processing modes: cloud-based (default) and local, giving you control over where your data is handled.

Cloud Processing (Extraktr)

The default mode. Conversations are sent to Extraktr's cloud servers for processing. This provides the fastest extraction times and requires no additional setup.

Local Processing

For teams with strict data residency requirements, local processing routes extraction requests to a self-hosted endpoint. Your conversation data never leaves your infrastructure.

• Configure a local endpoint URL in Settings
• Conversations are processed entirely on your infrastructure
• Requires a compatible extraction service running locally
• Verify connectivity with the built-in probe check

Switching Modes

Switch between processing modes at any time from Settings → Extraction Processing. When switching back to cloud processing, Extraktr automatically clears any saved local endpoint configuration.
